Why we started
We started Wattsmith because we were tired of watching people get worked over on electrical jobs. The pattern is always the same. An hourly meter you cannot see. A quote that changes once the wall is open. A crew that vanishes the day after the check clears. Electrical is not the place to gamble, because the failures do not stay small. A loose connection becomes a hot panel, and a hot panel becomes a fire. We built a company that treats the work with the seriousness it actually carries.
What the service taught us
The company is veteran-owned and the standard comes out of the military: do the job to standard rather than to whatever passes, and leave the space better than you found it.
That is a checklist, not a value statement. It is what we run on every call, because work done to standard is the only kind that holds up when nobody is watching it.
Why we quote flat
Flat-rate pricing is the honest version of this trade. We look at the panel, the meter, and the service first, then hand you one number for the whole job. You approve it before we lift a tool. If we open something up and find a problem, we stop and price it before we touch it, so the bill at the end is the number you agreed to at the start. No meter running while you watch, no line items you did not sign off on. The price is the price.
The promise we stand on
We give you a real arrival window and we hit it. If we are ever going to run late, you hear it from us first, with a reason, and if we miss the window with no heads-up, the diagnostic is on us. We launched in San Antonio and we work across this metro. The plan runs bigger than that, across Texas, but the window and what happens when we miss it do not change with the map.
Wattsmith Electric is BBB accredited. That is a standard we applied for and hold, the same way we hold the license: reviewed, on record, and yours to check.
Wattsmith Electric is part of Craftline Brands, the parent company behind the trades businesses we operate.
What we stand on
Four pillars, no exceptions
Workmanship
We do it right and to code, built to last. We do not chase the fast, cheap fix that fails in a year.
Diagnostics
We trace the circuit to the real cause instead of guessing and swapping parts on your dime.
Straight pricing
Flat rate quoted before work starts. You approve the number, then we work. No hourly meter, no surprise invoice.
Veteran discipline
On time, squared away, clean job sites. We do what we say we will do, on the day we said we would do it.
The Wattsmith Standard
How we do the work
Four things we do on every job, and what happens when we miss one.
The Wattsmith On-Time Promise
We show up in the window we give you. If something moves it, you hear it from us first, with a reason. Miss the window with no heads-up, and your diagnostic fee is on us.
Flat rate before work starts
You get the price up front and you approve it before we touch a wire. No hourly meter running while you watch.
Clean job site
We protect your floors, haul our mess, and leave the space the way we found it. You should not be able to tell we were there, except the work is done right.
Code-right, or we make it right
Everything we install meets code and we stand behind it. If it is not right, we come back and fix it. That is the whole deal.
